Team Norah 2020 Update

Hey friends! This is a quick Team Norah update that I should've shared a few weeks ago, but, well... 2020.

The Ronald McDonald House Family Walk has been rescheduled for October 31st. We will still be participating in the walk and fundraising as Team Norah, but I'm going to be kicking everything off in August this year. You didn't miss anything! Our normal summer fundraiser has just been pushed back, as have so many events this year. T-shirts (and more!) are in the works and I can't wait to share!

Is it disappointing? Yes. So much of this year has been, honestly. But the families participating in this walk all have or had family members in the hospital, many of whom continue to have significant health challenges. For the health and safety of everyone involved, they need to err on the side of caution.

As a result of the pandemic, the Ronald McDonald House has had to pause all of their volunteer programs out of safety for the families they serve. They continue to provide their incredible services to families in need, but with no volunteer support. This means that your donations this year will mean more than ever.

This year, we'll be dressed up for Halloween. Families supporting families in costumes - how fun! The Ronald McDonald House is merging their event with the Halloween Half Marathon at Father Hennepin Bluff Park in Minneapolis. Looking forward to all your spooky support!
