Standing in the shadow of mountains sets you firmly in your place in the presence of our creator. The still embrace of nature communicating with the design of every cell in your body lights a fire, causing you to feel at once intricately connected to everything and yet miraculously, tenderly and uniquely created. Powerfully protected in one sense yet entirely at the mercy of the wilderness that surrounds you. 

These seasonal transitions are tough, babe. We move from summer to fall once more, but you’re still gone. The undeniable passage of time is a halting reminder of the permanence of death.

But hand in hand with grief, the changing seasons are also a reminder of life and the simple fact that we’re still here living it.

And what a beautiful privilege that is.

Because of the incredible generosity of all of you, our 'Fierce Family', Team Norah was the #1 fundraiser for the 2017 RBC Race for the Kids (the Family Walk is one event of many at the RFTK), raising over $6,000 to support families like ours.

This year, Lane and I are the 2018 featured family for the RBC Race for the Kids and your efforts last year are now inspiring thousands more to come together for families like ours.

So Fierce Fam – it's time for Team Norah to do it again.
