Shirts!
You guys always blow us away with your support, and our shirt campaign benefiting the Ronald McDonald House has been no different.
We were expecting to sell maybe a handful of shirts to family members, but guys.
GUYS.
As of this writing your shirt purchases have raised $470 for the RMH, and there are still 10 days left to order shirts!
I can't wait to see what we're able to raise!
My heart explodes a little bit every time we see that another shirt has been purchased. The Ronald McDonald House is so dear to us.
Because of Norah's Trisomy 13 diagnosis, she spent the entirety of her time on earth in the NICU at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis. Those 5 days spent with Norah before she returned to heaven will forever hold a special place in our hearts. The memories we have are filled with joy, sadness, and so much love — many memories that wouldn't have been possible had it not been for the incredible support we received from the Ronald McDonald House.
Why FIERCE?
The Shakespeare quote, "Though she be but little, she is FIERCE." described and continues to describe our incredible daughter. Her life may have been short, but her impact has been huge.
But not only has Norah's life been fierce, we have come to experience a fierce love.
- Fierce love for our daughter that knows no bounds, a love that is strong enough to cross into heaven and back.
- The fierce love of community. The way friends, family, and everyone else has come together to support us through the hardest experience of our lives has brought (and continues to bring) us to tears over and over.
- The fierce love for and from the One who is now holding our baby girl.
There are 10 days left to purchase a shirt until the campaign ends on July 14th. Once the campaign ends, shirts will be printed and shipped out, arriving (hopefully) before the Race for the Kids on August 5th. If you can't join us in person, you can join us in spirit and wear your FIERCE shirt!
There are multiple styles and colors, so go get your favorites and support this incredible cause.
On behalf of all former, current, and future RMH families, we thank you.
XOXO
Lane, Joanna, and Norah.
